Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the San Francisco 49ers have shut down their facility today after receiving a positive COVID-19 test.
The positive test came from wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, adding to a laundry list of 49er injuries that has the 2010 Packers looking concerned for their well being (remember the Pack won the Super Bowl that season with 16 players finishing the season on injured reserve, but the 49ers are currently without usual starters at the quarterback, running back, and tight end positions).
As of 11am this morning, the NFL said the game tomorrow evening was still on as scheduled. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported that the team was going through their final walkthroughs before leaving for the Bay Area. The team is expected to take off from Austin Straubel Airport at 4pm this afternoon local time.
