Brewers Make Coaching Changes

By Adam Roberts – 11/5/2020

While we continue to wait and see if reliever Devin Williams can snag the NL Rookie of the Year Award for his accomplishments on the mound, the Brewers have announced some coaching changes for next year.

Milwaukee has added Quintin Berry to their 2021 coaching staff; he played parts of five seasons in the majors and 13 in the minors, where he logged 399 stolen bases. Berry replaces long-time third base coach Ed Sedar, who is switching to an advisor to the big league coaching staff. The rest of the staff remains intact.

Sedar had been the Brewers’ first-base coach from 2007-10 and third-base coach from 2011-20, on top of his work in the organization as a minor league outfield and base-running coordinator and minor league field coordinator. In all, his 28 year coaching tenure has made him one of the most recognizable last names in a Brewers jersey across four decades.
