Over the last 24 hours, La Crosse Central and Logan announced they would be postponing their winter sports over COVID-19 concerns, and at the college level UWL basketball is on hold for the moment. But last night at R.W. Beggs Sr. Gym the Viterbo women took the floor against Culver Stockton. Masked up and in front of a limited crowd of 50 or so spectators, the V-Hawks used a late second half push to defeat the Wildcats 64-54.
Senior Ambree Schlosser led the way for for Viterbo with 12 points, six rebounds, and an assist. She was followed by Allie Wojtysiak with 11 points and Tomah’s Madison Lindauer with 8.
Viterbo returns to the floor on Saturday at Northwestern-St Paul.
