Don’t look now, but 2-0 Wisconsin men’s basketball has climbed into the national Top 5.
Wisconsin moves up to fourth in the AP poll today after a 92-58 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Friday evening in which they began the night on a 25-0 run. The Badgers are joined in the Top 5 by Iowa at #3 and Illinois at #5. Michigan State is the fourth Big Ten team in the Top 10 at #8. Ohio State and Rutgers are the other two Big Ten ranked teams at 23rd and 24th respectively.
A two yearly in-state nonconference games are renewed this week with Tuesday’s game against Green Bay and Friday’s road contest at Marquette.
