Packers Won’t Adjust Fan Policy For Final Two Home Games

By Adam Roberts – 12/9/2020

There had been some hope that maybe the Packers would adjust their fans-at-games policy even further from just employees and their families for the final two home games of the regular season.

But yesterday, team president Mark Murphy put those rumors to rest, confirming that Lambeau Field will stick with its current policy for both the December 20th game against Carolina and the 27th against Tennessee. The decision is linked to keeping COVID-19 rates on the downward trajectory the Green Bay area is currently seeing, with the website stating that while infection rates in Brown County currently are trending in a better direction, the rate overall remains at a high level locally.

The last remaining hope for the general public to be admitted to Lambeau this season will be a potential home playoff home game. The team says that their approach to this possible situation will be made at the appropriate time.
