In game prepping for this weekend’s NFC Divisional Round game against the Rams, Packers coaches until today needed to prepare for the possibility of three different quarterbacks potentially starting for LA. John Wolford started for the Rams last week in the Wild Card round against Seattle, Jared Goff was considered despite his thumb injury, and Blake Bortles was at least partially rumored to start on Saturday if Goff couldn’t go and the coaching staff wasn’t satisfied with Wolford’s abilities. Well today it seems they’ve made their decision.
LA will be going with its primary starter this weekend after Wolford was taken to the hospital following a blow to the head last week. Goff, who had surgery on his right thumb after a Week 16 loss, replaced Wolford in the wild-card win over the Seahawks and was 9-of-19 for 155 yards. Bortles will be Goff’s back up this weekend.
