Any further games at the Brewers’ Maryvale, Arizona will have to wait while the organization deals with an outbreak of COVID cases.
The Journal Sentinel’s Todd Rosiak reports the team has had multiple positive cases recently, resulting in the facility shutting down. All games have been scratched from the Brewers’ Arizona Rookie League schedule until further notice.
Team farm director Tom Flanagan said: “in an abundance of caution, we have taken steps to ensure all players and staff are safe, and that includes cancelling some games while we work through this process.”
