The future of the franchise (at least that’s the assumption) had a mostly good performance in the two quarters he played Saturday. His stats read like so: 12-17, one touchdown pass, a lost fumble, and a 110.4 quarterback rating.
But Jordan Love may not be able to play in the Packers’ next preseason games due to a shoulder tweak during the second.
Love underwent an MRI for a shoulder strain he suffered in Saturday’s preseason loss over the Houston Texans, and while the MRI came back clean, the Packers might keep him out for the next preseason game.
When asked if Love could miss Saturday’s game against the Jets, Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur said, “Potentially, yeah.” At practice today, Love was in his practice jersey but rather than participate was sent to the Hudson Center for a rehab day.
