UW-Madison Unveils COVID Guidelines For Badger Football Games

By Adam Roberts – 8/16/2021

While everyone is certainly happy to see stadiums filled with fans once again, we can’t ignore the fact that COVID is still very much a thing and that guidelines will still be in effect at every stadium to different extents.

Today, UW-Madison released their COVID guidelines for fans attending games at Camp Randall this fall, and they include these policies on masks:

  • All ticketed fans must wear masks when in an indoor area of Camp Randall regardless of vaccination status, unless actively eating and drinking. This includes restrooms, elevators, and club seating areas.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged in outdoor public spaces but won’t be required. These areas include the entry gates and seating bowl.

The protocols take effect starting this Saturday, when the school hosts the “Badgers Are Back (To Back)” event.

Wisconsin opens the season September 4th against #19 Penn State on ESPN La Crosse 105.5.
