Vikings Sign Former Steelers Punter Jordan Berry

By Adam Roberts – 9/2/2021

It’s the start of September, and you know what that means? Another sudden change on special teams for the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings on Thursday announced they have signed veteran punter Jordan Berry. The 30-year-old Melbourne, Australia native is joining Minnesota after spending the previous six seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Berry has appeared in 91 regular-season games with a career average of 44.4 yards per punt. The 45.8 yards per punt by Berry in 11 games last season was the highest average of his career.

This move comes after the Vikings released their previous punter Britton Colquit earlier this week.

Minnesota opens the regular season September 12th at Cincinnati.
