Brewers’ Eduardo Esocbar and Freddy Peralta Reinstated; Kolten Wong on Paternity List

Some Brewers injury news before we dive head first into a busy football weekend.

The team is welcoming back a big bat to the lineup as the team activates infielder Eduardo Escobar from the 10-day injured list. Also returning from the injured list is Freddy Peralta, who will start tonight’s game against St. Louis.

Before injuring his hamstring on August 22nd against Washington, in 21 games with Milwaukee Escobar has hit .280/.337/.451 with two home runs, 11 runs and eight RBI. Peralta was put on the IL on Aug. 19 with right shoulder inflammation, but prior to had been pitching on a level that helps give Milwaukee’s starting three the high reputation it has earned.

Additionally, second baseman Kolten Wong has been placed on the paternity list.
