Former MVP Christian Yelich knows as well as anyone the kind of environment fans at American Family Field can provide for the Brewers. In a show of gratitude, Yeli is paying it forward to those fans, quite literally.
Yelich yesterday announced he will be buying the tickets in appreciation of the fans for next week’s four-game series against the second-place St. Louis Cardinals. There are 10,000 tickets that are currently available while supplies last at brewers.com/yelich.
Milwaukee lost last night in Detroit 1-0, but the Crew’s magic number to clinch a postseason berth dropped to four. The number to clinch the NL Central remains at five.
Brandon Woodruff will get the start today in Detroit as the Brewers try to split the two-game series.
