Minnesota sports and pain, name a more recognizable pair.
After falling in overtime to Joe Burrow and the Bengals in Week One, they one-up’d the pain-o-meter this week with a missed field goal at the final whistle against Arizona, complete with the very sad final call from KFAN’s Paul Allen:

As the team looks to put these difficult losses behind them, they’re also making some roster moves today. After waiving Brandon Dillon to keep running back Ameer Abdullah on the 53-man roster, the Vikings signed the tight end to the practice squad. Dillon caught one pass for Minnesota last year, and he has played in one game for the Vikings in 2021. Minnesota has Chris Herndon, Tyler Conklin, and Ben Ellefson already rostered at the tight end position.
The Vikings host the Seahawks on Sunday.
