Vikings RB Cook Questionable Vs Browns

By Adam Roberts – 10/1/2021

The final Viking injury report this week lists running back Dalvin Cook as questionable for Sunday’s game against Cleveland.

Cook was held out of last week’s win against Seattle just before kickoff. The ankle injury occurred during the Week Two loss to Arizona, but Cook and Vikings coaches had been optimistic he could go for the Seahawks game right up until the final call needed to be made.

Cook has not said for certain whether he’ll be available this week at U.S. Bank Stadium, but ESPN’s Courtney Cronin has said he appears optimistic about his status.

Alexander Mattison would be the go-to back for Minnesota once again if Cook can’t play. He had a career-high tying 112 yards last week and a career day in the passing game with six catches for 59 yards.
