Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was one of 25 players added to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary team yesterday.
The two-time NBA MVP led Milwaukee to their first NBA championship title since 1971 last season. Antetokounmpo is in his ninth season with the Bucks, and he’s been named to five All-Star teams in his career. Former Buck Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was named to the list on Tuesday.
The Bucks are looking to build off of their season-opening win on Tuesday when they take on the Heat tonight in Miami. Milwaukee is 1-and-0 after beating Brooklyn 127-104. The Bucks swept the Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs last season. Meanwhile Miami features a likely very physical roster with PJ Tucker finding a home in South Florida following he and the Bucks being unable to ink a deal after last season.
